Hello from Kelly McGuill Home!

Hi all,

It's been quite a while since our last communication and we hope everyone is happy and healthy!

We're getting our KMH blog back up and running and we have some fun content to share with you all over the coming months.

Here's whats new

First off, we moved! We sold our storefront in Walpole which was bittersweet, but now I live and work out of Cape Cod. It's been an adventure to say the least. Purchasing, tearing down, renovating, and selling one home in South Yarmouth, then purchasing and renovating a second home in Yarmouth Port! Although moving is perhaps one of my least favorite things to do, it's a necessary evil to carve out the space and life I want for myself. Every time I look at my new home, it solidifies the work was worth it.

Next, a home gym design of ours was featured in in one of our favorite publications, Architectural Digest. It was a project we worked on for a young family who wanted to make exercise fun for their kids throughout the year. We installed turf which was a first for us but certainly not a last!

Lastly, You can catch me speaking on a panel in early 2026! Stonewood Products and Cape & Islands Design Guide is presenting a panel discussion event;  Preservation in Action ~ where the past meets the present in building design. I'm honored to be included, and even though I don't always love public speaking, this is a topic I'm very passionate about so I'm extremely excited. Many of the homes I've lived in or worked on have had historic elements that we've worked to preserve. My home I live in now was built in the 1800's and bringing it back to life was a dream come true. More details to come on this panel!
