Seasonal KMH Favorites

This winter is feeling long, but luckily there are a ton of things we're loving right now that are getting us through these colder days!

  • The Established home with Jean Stoffer. Jean is an Interior designer in Grand Rapids Michigan and has an amazing business where her entire family is involved in different aspects. Jean’s vision and taste is brilliant and we can’t wait to watch the next episodes. You can watch all the episodes on The Magnolia Network with a subscription here.

  • We do a lot of driving, especially Kelly who recently moved to Cape Cod and commutes from there! To pass the time, there's nothing better than a book on tape. Here are our faves right now: The Girl With the Louding Voice by Abi Dare, A Thousand Splendid suns by Khaled Hosseini, Untamed by Glennon Doyle, Educated by Tara Westover, See Jane Snap by Bethany Crandall and Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed.

  • Podcasts are also an amazing way to pass the time while driving, and our absolute favorite right now is the January 10th, 2022 episode of the "Business of Home" featuring Grant Trick. Grant is someone we've been lucky enough to work with, and we've always been enamored with his custom furniture empire. He's down to earth, talented, and a total gem! You can listen on Spotify, Apple Music, or anywhere else you have access to podcasts.

  • If you're on the Cape and are looking for a great meal or drink and a restaurant with incredible aesthetics, we would recommend Pain D’Avignon in Hyannis, MA. This beautiful French restaurant with the most amazing food has incredible vibes, inside and out. Kelly loves everything about it and can’t wait to go back and take everything in all over again.

  • An artist we're loving right now is Susan Farrington! She specializes in mixed media, but has recently taken on large landscapes inspired by her surroundings on cape cod. You can follow her on instagram @susan_farrington and see her work on her website here.

  • Physical fitness is so important but it can be hard to stay motivated with the days being so short, and the classic New England winter weather. There's an amazing app called Strava that our social media manager has been using almost every day. It allows you to track your workouts (running, walking, bike rides etc) and share them with friends. Having a fitness community definitely helps with motivation!

Thanks for tuning in to our seasonal favorites, we hope you like them!
